“Putting our heart in our hands” is the divine act of inviting compassion to flow out from our hearts and through our hands while practicing simple acts of kindness in the world. Many of us admire those who care for others, but think that we are somehow “unworthy” or unqualified to do the same. Yet the simple act of intentionally lightening the load of another human being―in any way―is a sacred act that blesses both the giver and receiver.
